But seriously, I've been intentionally workshopping this series in public as I put together the "Escape Pod" book with two goals: 1) testing the ideas in a public forum; and 2) beginning what I suppose is the earliest stages of a political movement? At the very least, the preliminary gathering of folks who respond to the concept of a deliberate ejection from capitalism and might actually be interested in helping invent a community—or communitIES—where we collectively reimagine life after wage slavery. My work here is to present the need for the ejection and the seed for how to eject; the rest must be forged by a group or else it's just a cult or whatever.
